Community Care

The Community Care Centre  provides a range of culturally appropriate services to support clients to stay in their Community and live independently. We understand the importance of maintaining personal dignity and wellness.

Our staff are committed in offering support to older community members and their carers: We can also help younger people with a disability.

To access Aged Care services people need to contact the National Government site, ‘My Aged Care’ for an initial assessment. Wiluna Community Care can help with information about how to get an assessment.

For anyone who is assessed as needing care and support, a care plan is developed with the person about what services and help they need and what Wiluna Community Care can do to help.

The kinds of help we can provide includes:

  • Domestic Assistance
  • Personal Care
  • Social Support
  • Transport
  • Medication assistance- Nursing Care
  • Advocacy
  • Meals on Wheels
  • Centre Based Day Care
  • Flexible Respite
  • Other food services
