Our capacity to provide comprehensive health care services is underpinned by our many valuable partnerships with a wide range of public and private sector organisations.
Supporting and building on these important relationships is central to the long-term strategic development of health care service delivery in the Central Desert region.
Our vision for the future involves improving coordination of health service delivery in the Central Desert region. Achieving this vision will involve strategic partnerships with government, the private sector, and particularly with other Aboriginal Medical Services.
By working together we can improve the effectiveness of the resources allocated to health care in the Central Desert, increase the efficiency of service delivery, gain greater knowledge of the real impacts of the programs and services delivered across the Central Desert, and build better evidenced-based strategies for health care delivery across the region.
Our partnerships also involve working with other Aboriginal community organisations. For example, through our Building Healthy Community sports program, we work with other regional communities to stage competition matches and sports carnivals.
The following partners and funders are central to our operations. Their number is also indicative of the complex layers of relationships required to provide service in remote Australia.
