Social & Emotional Well-being

Our SEWB service aims to provide holistic and culturally supportive programs that promote social and emotional wellbeing.

Our centre is located in a safe and confidential space on the NAHS campus. We aim to create a place where women, men, young people and children can come to talk about their worries and concerns and to get the support they need. We also provide outreach and run groups and camps on Country and facilitate psychoeducational groups and trainings for community groups and services.

Our service strives to increase participation and engagement of all Aboriginal people in mental health services. We accept self-referrals as well as referrals from other services for mental health issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss. We also provide support with suicide and self-harm as well as problems with alcohol and other drugs, family and domestic violence and other psychosocial stressors.

If we cannot provide you with the service you need, we will help you to connect with another service that better fits your needs.
