Environmental health services

Nggangganawili Aboriginal Health Service further supports the community by providing regular and seasonal environmental health services including mosquito fogging, animal inoculation, sterilization and destruction, water testing, rubbish removal, dog health programs, building and food area inspection support and advice to environmental health workers in the region.

Our key strategies for improved living conditions through environmental health management are to provide regular environmental health services for Aboriginal communities in the region; identify maintenance required to support environmental health facilities and equipment; and monitor environmental health conditions to identify opportunities to improve conditions for the community.

Our targets for achieving include the ongoing reporting of zero level of environmental health related notifications for the Wiluna residential population; and to gain community acceptance and compliance with dog limits
