Nggangganawili Aboriginal Health Service provide culturally appropriate support and information on sexual and reproductive health issues in community and clinical settings.
We are working to set realistic targets to reduce the incidence of sexually transmitted diseases in the community and have recently committed to establishing a new sexual health program and recruiting an Aboriginal Health Worker to manage the program.
The new sexual health program will define clinical pathways for opportunistic screening and ensure staff have access to relevant resources and participate in regional workshops and professional development around sexual health.
